About Me

Things have an unusual way of working out, even if it's not how we expected. Often, the experiences we go through help shape who we become.

During my time at university, the counselling support I received was exactly what I needed - and it planted the seed for a future career in counselling that would begin to grow years later.

Training and Early Experience

By 2018, I was a qualified counsellor and continued in both my placements working with both adults and children. These early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for how differently people process and overcome life's challenges.

Professional Practice

In 2020, I joined a local community interest company, managing a counselling project within a Primary Care Network based in GP surgeries across Chester. My role involved assessing clients, supporting trainee counsellors on placement, and maintaining my own caseload of clients.

Alongside this, I also provided counselling support in schools, helping children navigate emotional and personal challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

I am DBS checked and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within their ethical framework to ensure clients receive professional, confidential, and compassionate care.
